Samie Gebers is a multimedia journalist graduating from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in May. Gebers finds a passion in video storytelling and not only has a love for reporting, but for shooting and editing as well. She is always looking for creative and innovative ways to tell the best stories possible. Gebers has worked and interned at various papers and television news stations across the country including CBS 5/3TV in Phoenix, Hawaii News Now in Honolulu and The Santa Clarita Valley Signal in her hometown. She has also worked as a broadcast reporter at Cronkite News at ASU and Cougar News at College of the Canyons. She attended the National Press Photographers Association’s News Video Workshop her junior year and is constantly utilizing lessons from the NPPA to improve her work.
